When you retire..life is NOT just about the beach | WHO ARE WEIn 1965, a group of Rotarians, wishing to continue in fellowship after largely retiring from work, met in The Campus, Welwyn Garden City’s central square, and founded The Campus Club. The idea was taken up a year later in Caterham Kent, England, but a more generic name was used - PROBUS. (PROfessional BUSiness) The first PROBUS club for seniors in North America was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Galt in Cambridge Ontario, Canada in 1987. Presidents MessageGreat News!Recently I had the opportunity to meet with our dedicated volunteers who run our various groups and clubs as Convenors within our PROBUS organization. Many groups had found a way to meet and continued to enjoy the friendship and interaction they found. Unfortunately, other groups had to be suspended. The good news was that there was universal agreement by all who attended that they were ready to meet again.I encourage all of you to log in and see what activities are live and what you might want to join. | Upcoming Events

Special note: many of the Mixed Probus Club of Burlington events have been cancelled and or defered due to the pandemic. Please check back as we reopen for upcoming events. |
The Mixed PROBUS Club of Burlington offers numerous activities to its members - all designed to stimulate the mind or the body. Below is a list of the activities currently offered. We encourage members who have a passion for a particular activity not listed to poll the organization and if there is enough interest among the members that activity will be actively promoted by the club.
